great for those unfortunate situations

I am not a big offroader, nor do I regularly encounter situations where I need a strap..however I always keep this in my truck's toolbox just in case. I've used this same strap (borrowed a friends) and it works as well as you'd expect it to..no drama or issues. I'm hoping I don't have to use mine because it's still so tightly coiled in the original packaging ;)

The best "stuck cure" available

These types of nylon straps are the absolute BEST solution for un-stucking a vehicle. This one is very well made with strong, secure stitching and looks like it will last a long time. The nylon strap is far better to use than chain or cable, not only because it is a little stretchy and forgiving, but also because the stretchiness helps to give an extra boost to the towing force when yanking a vehicle out of trouble. Anybody who ever goes off the pavement should carry one of these. Don't forget to also carry some short chains and keeper links so that you can attach the strap to two vehicles.
