4Leaf Net better than Leaf Lugger
By Ian Hogg
Trees are the predominant feature in the suburb I live in. I have long concluded that my house in the vortex-leaf center of the entire neighborhood. For years I have made do with a makeshift tarp to lug the leaves to the wooed area behind the house where I make compost (I could go into business!) I decided there had to be a better method. And so I came across the leaf-lugger from Get Organised (see my review of that as well). Having ordered that I then came across the Leaf Net. So I decided to just buy both. The Leaf Net is the better buy. It is a little trickier to spread out than the lugger but is simpler and lighter. And is more maneuverable, especially through my narrow back-fenced-in-area gate It is also easier to empty then the lugger. It is however not quite as easy to lift. You will need a glove on you main lifting hand using the other to coil the rope as you draw the net closed because the cord is so thin it'll cut in to your hand. The stakes are a nice idea but I found you didn't really need them as you `sweep' the leaves on to the spread net. And being light net it is more useful when the leaves are wet. Both lugger and net were delivered in 3 days from order standard shipping. Gets my recommendation

4OK after a minor modification
By M. Dionne
The net is very light weight, and on windy days it is easy to get it to lie flat because the wind passes right through.

In many places I can't use the corner stakes because of sidewalks and driveway. It is difficult to spread out the tarp without using the stakes because the cord that runs around the edge like a "purse string" is difficult to get straight. So I made four loops of cord and attached them to the four corners, and the whole thing is much easier to handle, though you have to be careful about leakage while carrying it.

5leaf net
By Maggie
This product in great if you have a place in your lawn to dump your leaves. The 4 corners have loops you can put a "stake" thru that holds down the net. After you rake the leaves onto the net , you just remove the "stakes" (which come with the net) , and pull the handle on the rope attached to the net and it draws up around the leaves and you just pull it to where you want to dispose of the leaves. Emptying the net is so easy, must easier than a tarp. It is a great product. I have close to 100 trees on my property and I have tried many different ways to pick-up the leaves. This product is a winner.
